I was told $70k flat for the F6 and GT, interested to see if you were told any different.
Fair to say that I would like either or but will have to see if that can happen following a drive.

Heart says V8 and brain says F6 but will wait for a drive

Is that Aussie prices or NZ prices? either way they don't seem that expensive and in a couple of years you could pick them up half price

I think they have done away with the new car discount, but they are a good savings too. Great

Is it because high performance cars aren't selling too well at the moment?

They have lowered the RRP of all the cars to encourage less haggling when we all go to buy one.
Fleet discounts have been decreased as well so we should see perhaps better value in the cars down the track, but not sure about that.

There was a story about it on the Ford site but it is gone now.
They referred to it as transparent pricing.
Discounts like CRT cards etc have been decreased as well.

    Fair enough.
From what I was told CRT discount used to be 10% off new but is now 4% due to the lowering of the RRP so sould have pointed that out first.
I have never had one of those cards anyway but interesting comparison between then and now.

Plus I do recall when the BA's came out I was going to buy a Fairmont Ghia V8 which was $65k and now the equivalent G6E Turbo is $55k and the G6E Turbo is not only $10k less than its predecessor but its also $11k less than the Calais V8..............So cars are getting cheaper or we're getting better bang for our buck. Very Happy

If you have a look at the price list you'd get about $1000 back from $80k. Embarassed .........But those are the RRP and are not including the on road price.

Mine was $79650 inc on road costs. A big improvement as my BF was $93k. Both cars were fully optioned
