Just a thought
If GM and Ford hold the majority share of the car market will that mean that there wont be any "Real" competition in the pricing of cars.
For example, If Ford and Holden worked together would there be the likes of $11,000 difference in the price of the Ford G6ET and Berlina V8, at the moment you can get the Ford G6ET for $55k and the Holden for $66k.......Would that still continue??...Its just a thought.

It just doesn't seem right does it ........ in an age where manufacturers share engines i guess it had to come.
If anyone is wondering why Holdens new pickup is a Colorado instead of a Rodeo, it's because Holden no longer use Isuzu Diesels and Rodeo is an Isuzu brandname.
Toyota are talking about developing thier petrol / hybrid engines so they will use the Isuzu diesel and rumours are they will also look at using Subaru's newly developed Diesel that is based on thier popular H4 Boxer engine.
I guess it's all about bang for buck
