    19th October 2008, 10am Start


    The FPV & Tickford Owners Club would like to invite you to join in this day of fun and adventure


    There are several ways that you can join us on this special day

    · Enter a team, or
    · Make a donation, or
    · Allow us to do a challenge at your place of business


    Enter a Team

    20 team limit

    Teams will be made up of 4 people, this can be from your company or made up of our club members or a mixture of both

    Teams cost is $100 per team and 4 t-shirts with your company on them

    Here is the best part, the team that wins the Car Rally will decide the charity that all the proceeds go to.


    Make a Donation

    We welcome with open arms any donations or Auction/Raffle Memorabilia that will be added to the total funds that will be presented to the winning teams requested charity
    ( ALL OF THE PROCEEDS COLLECTED WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE NOMINATED CHARITY )


    Allow Us to do a challenge

    Please talk to our events committee about how we can do an event at your site, this not only helps us to make the rally a fun day for all but also promotes your business to everyone that is participating


    Finally I would just like to thank you for your time and hope you join us for a great day and a great cause for a chosen charity

    With your help we can make this a win/win situation for all

    You can still get your company to sponsor a team, after all it is all for charity :sad2:

    Yeah it was alot of organising and the sponsors that came to the party definately were appreciated, and also to all that attended a huge thank you. The final tally has not been established but so far there is more than $450 going to the Cancer Society. I would just like to formally thank all the sponsors of this event

    * Ford NZ ( head office) ( Mike, hope you enjoy your Masterpiece )

    * Auckland Luge ( Sorry we couldnt make it up there )
    * 123 Karaoke Bar ( Thanks Mike, hope you like your painting )
    * Pronto Print ( Bernard you are a legend, even if you drive a Holden )
    * Herb Morgan Tyres ( thanks Herb, and Andrew for doing the hard yards to get this team)

    Without your generosity this day would not have been such a success, I would also like to say a big thanks to Toolmans Team mate, and Neighbour ( sorry I have forgotten her name ) who showed that generosity has no limits as this little sweetheart ( only 11 years old I think ) donated $20 of her own pocket money, if a child was that giving just imagine what more adults could have achieved. Once again a huge thank you to all involved, I am sure that the Cancer Society will be very thankful.

    It is a shame when You belong to the biggest branch of a little car club and biggest population base and no one will get off their lazy back sides and support a charity car rally, they will all turn up to a drag day but not a run to raise money for cancer. The Tickford club should have given this top priority and advertised it as such, Shame on the Tickford club of NZ and shame on all those at the top for not supporting a worthy cause.

    Maybe You need to do a charity run without a car club in mind Gav and open it up for everyone, that way You will get a lot more support for it. Thumbs Up
