Team kiwi look to be out of Bathurst due a serious accident today with PWR car of Paul Weel. Both drivers are in hospital but hopefully will be ok. Both cars are extensively damaged and according to V8 supercar website they have been withdrawn from the event.

On a good note the Fords are very quick in practice so far with 1st and 2nd places on time sheets.

I do hope the two drivers are OK but I don't give a toss about TKR.

Just a bit of cosmetic damage there... will be back and racing in a couple of hours... Rolling Eyes
Actually, I saw the crash on TV3 news. It looked wicked, he's lucky to be ok and the the car he T-boned also took a massive hit. They reckon he would have been doing 180km/h at impact, (but it didn't look quite that quick) so thankfully no one was hurt.

Latest is they have stripped it and have all the parts to get it back on track including the labour required however this is all subject to how much chassis damage was done. Car is on chassis jig to find out.

Will be an awesome comeback for them if they make it
