The reason i didn't go down was that i was supporting Bronwyn in her first 1/2 marathon - I am very proud of her as she did finish it, she only got her clearance from the doctor on the friday after her accident at netball .... well done Bronwyn!
Yeah god on you Bronnie, I bet Sam just drove the car around to the viewing areas Meremere Drags - Page 2 676287
Hey ... i drove her to the start, then caught the ferry to town and walked to the finish line ..... does that count? Meremere Drags - Page 2 107667
Besides ... why run when i have 2 good V8's in the garage.!

The Ford burn-out's - or lack of were disappointing. Although Roger did a goodie in Caron's car (caught on camera) Cool , and I did see someone in a silver Ford do a good one Great , but I was too far away with my camera Crying - sorry silver Ford.
It's not easy trying to photograph everyone there and also race my own car.
Idea Perhaps next year a better burn-out effort can be made and everyone that wants to do a good burn-out can line up behind eachother and I'll take lots and lots of pic's.

Yeah that's a good idea. Nothing worse then doing a ripper burnout and then no one sees it... :fing:
