Fairmont 2002 v8 Problems

Hi all, i'm new to this forum and could do with a little help. I have
just bought a nice Fairmont 2002 v8. All of a sudden the darn thing has
started beeping at me. There is no visual lights up etc. i have checke
the doors, seatbelts etc. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? cheers

i remember taking a XR8 for a test drive and it started beeping ! looked at fuel gauge.... no fine..... oil pressure fine..... funny little (S) thing flashing on dash! my first introduction to the overspeed button........ man talk about break into a sweat

Don't think this would be the prob with ya fairmont though, sorry

When does the beep happen mate?, on start up or while driving?.

when you first start the car, do all the lights light up for the lamp test?

I would say its the overspeed button set to low
Or your boot is not shut properly

Check the airbag warning light too mate.

Is there enough pretol in the tank?
