    Would think that the F6 will break the 12 sec mark in time. I was surprised a bit that it hadnt even in this test. Considering the G6E Turbo is capable of 13.3 secs compared with the F6's, 13.1, the G6ET is better value for money.

    I talked to the FPV dealer in Palmerston North last week and he predicted an issue for the F6 in that while it is 310kw/565Nm and the XR6T is "only" 270kw/533Nm the XR6T has a temporary overboost feature that gives it more than 580Nm - his gut feel that there wasn't much in it performance wise.

    The Aussie Ford Forum has the following couple of posts on a thread

    First few FG XR6 Turbos have been dynoed and have made anywhere from 235 to 255 rwkw. The 255 rwkw one was a manual and made more power than an edited and CAI'd VE R8.

    I've been told that the XR6T is more like 290kW (at the fly). But, Ford decided not to advertise this as it would take a lot away from the XR8.

    In a magazine read a while back by TI and myself there was an 8 and it also had two turbos in it.That's the car I want.And I'm positive it was a Ford.

    Just been reading the new Wheels magazine over here in OZ and not one bad word about the new F6, in fact they all say its a monster and a real V8 eater. Great
