    Hi,

    Please help settle a debate between my husband & myself...

    BAII XR8 Boss 5.4ltr Ute, is it Turbo or not? If it isn't turbo, what is the bit that makes it need the bulge in the bonnet?

    No, the 5.4 ltr Boss is a normally aspirated V8, the bulge in the bonnet is to allow room for the plenum chamber on top of the intake system.
