Thats what I was thinking :suspect: ...especially since the base model Fords, the only V8 option available now is the XR8 scratch

It will be interesting to see what the fuel economy fiqures are like between the F6 and the V8 now the power figures are so close. Not that it would change to many people from one to the other.

I think that the V8 sales might take quite a hit and many people who are not die hard V8 buyers will go for the F6 as they may see it being better value for money if it is a bit cheaper than GT.

I'm not worried about a 1/4 mile Des, I generally enjoy driving mine longer than that. Laughing

I didn't see you at the John Edwards track day this year. Maybe you'll bring your beast along to next years one and see how it goes. I need someone elst to chase besides Gummy. Laughing Laughing

    Are you alright CJ?

First you admit your car was a slouch now you admit you can only chase (not catch, not pass) Gummy's Turbo - I'm getting quite concerned?

I couldn't catch it at Pukekohe and that was before his latest upgrades. Maybe if I stick a Supercharger on mine...

Correct but my advice would be to never buy a Holden as then you'd really be neck deep in it.

P.S. What you doing up at 4:36am? Not another breakin?

Does anyone know what the retail prices are for the FG FPV cars?
Wouldnt mind knowing what Ford want for an F6 or GT.

Prices not released in NZ yet but looking at Aussy prices you can expect a small increase.

Can say that the F6 is the same price as a GT.
The F6 has gone up and the GT has gone down to meet in the middle.
