Isaac Performance Vehicles open day Taupo Sat Dec 4th

Isaac Performance Vehicles will be holding their annual open day on December 4th from 9am to 4:30pm, this year held in conjunction with a full open day at the Taupo Motorsport and Business Park.

IPV activities include:
• IPV Dyna Pack dyno-tuning demonstrations
• IPV Holden/GM Launch
• Vehicle and new product displays
• Sausage Sizzle
• Giveaways including ‘Hot Laps’
• The Rock girls
• Open Day specials in the IPV showroom
Track activities include:
• Honda Riders Club Motorcycle Track Session in the morning
• IPV Ford and Holden track sessions in the afternoon
• Track open at 11am, 1pm & 3pm for 2 public parade laps – free entry
• Helicopter Rides – to be confirmed
• Cars, motorcycles, trucks and heavy equipment on display
• Mini motocross

There is a $75 on the day fee for the afternoon track session ($50 for pre-entry).

This years IPV Open Day was a great success and Taupo turned on a cracker of a day. Great to see Holden and Ford owners getting together and having a blast on and off the track, red or blue – there is a kindred spirit shared by enthusiasts.
This was a great day to launch our exciting new range of enhancement services and products for Holden & HSV owners, exhaust systems for American cars and a couple of other announcements which will be released to the public very soon.
We had fun running Holden VE HSV R8, Ford FG XR8 and BF GT’s on the Dynapack Dyno, with Paul giving a personal breakdown of the torque, horsepower and air-fuel ratio curves and the benefits of custom tuning.
We raised funds for the Taupo SPCA by asking for a gold coin donation for the Hot Dogs and Sausage sizzle, as well as taking donations for back issues of Performance Ford and NZV8 Magazines.
The Rock Girls should have been busy washing cars, but there were not many dirty cars so they spent time working the Hot Dog stand.
We had a genuine Ford GT (Late model GT40) race car on display and a brand new 2011 Shelby Mustang GT500 which had been in the country for less than a week, plus some new Holden’s courtesy of Ebbett’s Holden in Taupo and a good selection of club cars.
The afternoon track session went without a hitch, at $50 it was a very cheap afternoon on the track, and most drivers called it a day fairly early – there was a lot of track time to be had!
