Hi, Has anyone had to remove/repair a fuel pump in a EF wagon. Its my wifes car, 6 seater for the tribe. So need to get it sorted quick. Just want to know what im in for hassels/dollars etc. Its making a weird sort of crying sound which gets louder the longer the car is going. Cheers.

Haven't had to deal with a fuel pump before mate, but get a hold of Derek (Fordace) his link is on the home page in red mate, www.fordparts.co.nz
I was at his workshop last week and he has heaps of spare parts so he will sort you out mate.

Sweet mate, was't sure cos it was a huge file. check out ferntree gully auto salvage in Melbourne, they always heaps for the E series. I got my trip computer and cruise control and ECU from them for my EF. http://www.ftgautosalvage.com.au/Default.asp

There should be one around as there was an EL s/w damaged l/f at our local auction on wednesday. If you have not found anything by monday I will contact Turners an see if they will tell me who bought this car. I did not think that this would have been so hard to get. let me know if you are still stuck.
