Any pics and are you getting one?

First post here and I have to say I am getting very excited regarding the arrival of the FG.
Spent a lot of time over the weekend on the internet learning what I could and have only got excited recently as the car is not far away from becoming reality.

Are there any of FG Falcons in the country at the moment and if so does anyone have any good pics to post?

I was looking at keeping my current BF but I think that will change now as the new car looks good on paper.
For me personally, I am setting up a new business so an FPV is out of the question so it will be an XR and although the Turbo is quicker I dont think I can move away from a V8 so what are you guys getting if you are going with the new FG?

There were a few at Hamilton this weekend and I must say they look very sharp, much better in the flesh too plus some have been seen around the roads too............Must be dealers going for rides in then I reckon.

Well Gav (can i call you Gav, you can call me Gav ) if I were to go to the FG it would be the XR8 ute, as I have always wanted a ute and the new but suttle body shape looks awesome

Yeah they look very nice. Either XR6 or XR8. Both look very stylish and great new colours too.

In fact the XR6 may even be a little better looking than the XR8 as there is just a tad too much going on with the XR8 bonnet.

The XR8 is a bit to loud for me in that colour and the alloys are a bit busy but I like the look of the car and being a V8 fan will most likely see me in another 8.

One thing that has changed that I dont like much is the external door handles, the BA-BF panels look more streamlined but Im just being a bit picky now.
The front splitter/bumper looks to be very well crafted.

I just cant wait to test drive the Turbo and XR 8 when they get here finally.

Would love to see more pics in the meantime.

I like everything about the fg ute except the rearend is plain as and the colour is not me.In black or purple and I would be sold on one.

hopefully the "aftermarket" looking aerial on the ute is not standard, looks like it does not belong there

Would have to look at the new colour range first before deciding, but it wouldnt be green.

Red is holden colour.Black for a ute or purple.Bold statement colours.

Le Mans Red which a certain persons car is, is a Ford colour

Black or Ego colour Ute.
